Getting Started With CPA Marketing

I meet a lot of people who are excited about the opportunity to promote CPA offers. I need to let a bit of the air out of your balloon: CPA marketing requires a lot of work. You have to learn this just like anything else. If you even remotely think this is a vehicle for fast money with little to no work GIVE UP NOW! Successful CPA Marketers (earning 6 figures or more per month) are not lazy. They do not have a problem investing in education or advertising. If you are looking to learn this for free without paying your dues again I say GIVE UP. NO ONE IS GOING TO TEACH YOU EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT CPA MARKETING FOR FREE. N O O N E!!!!!! If you are brand new to CPA marketing here are a few steps you should do first: 1. Get on CPA Networks. This is not as difficult as some claim. You may want to start with http://cj.com (Commission Junction). It is easy to get on CJ. Also try http://www.peerfly.com. When applying for CPA networks be honest. If they don't approve you on the first try pick up the phone and call the Affiliate Manager. Let them know you are new to CPA marketing but you are getting training on the Warrior Forum (see link below). 2. Get Hosting and learn your way around a server. I recommend hiring someone from Fiverr.com to create a landing/lead capture page for you. Very few people use direct linking and most of the guru's suggest creating a landing page. You will also need an autoresponder. Check out Aweber.com and/or Getresponse.com. 3. Find a good traffic source. Paid or Free. Free sources will take a long time. Craigslist is NOT an option to get free traffic for CPA (unless you know what you are doing). YOU WILL GET BANNED. Focus on paid resources. Here's a great course on getting traffic - http://hightrafficacademy.com-if.us 4. Figure out an offer to promote. Dating, weight loss, etc. 5. Setup a landing page and tracking for the offer on your server. This is something you will need to hire someone to do if you don't know how to do this. Go to Fiverr.com. If you don't have the money to pay someone do a search on Google to learn how to create a basic lead capture page. Fiverr is your best option. 6. Start promoting things and split testing things. Targeted traffic. 7. Don't jump around. Read all you can. I didn't know this before, but with site extensions on your Adwords ads you can give people several options to visit your page, or, just offer a bunch of different ad copy in the form of links that all point to the same place. Do you have sitelinks setup, and actively gaining impressions/clicks in your account? If that sounds tricky, it isn't as difficult as you might imagine. You can get help by just giving Simon a ring, his number is 207-618-8998.

Great stuff. Also, I find it easy to get approved if you have an established blog site with very good content on it. It helps if you are quite good on a niche that affiliate networks just start emailing you about their offers. I really like your post. I have 2 blog sites and they are working great for me. I am planning to build more niche sites for different offers. Just a question: Any tips on how to determine a fraud network? I only rely on online reviews but most of the time they have both bad and good reviews. Like for example, I find this network Global Matrix Media provides good offers but I want to make sure they are not fraud? Any tips for me? Thanks!

It is always helpful if you can read reviews online first before you start your campaign with an affiliate network. There are indeed a lot of scam online and you do not want to promote something that you will not get paid for.

For CPA offers, you may want to check out Global Matrix Media has a huge list of great offers. If you are looking for variety, this is the network. I have been with them for over a year now and so far, no delays in payment. Very trusted network.
